Macabre Cadaver

I've had two stories accepted by Macabre Cadaver magazine: "the King of Bling" and "The Cracker". Oringinally, I sent them the King story, but then I decided it wasn't right for the mag and sent them the other one. Even though I told them to ignore the first one, they have just emailed me saying they'd like to publish it. Sod's law, eh! I get two accepted and one of them has already been published. Still, I'm really happy that "The Cracker" has been accepted, can't wait to see it in the mag ...

New novel and Spinetinglers

I've just started the second draft of a novel I'm writing. It's about a lazy security guard (something I can write about with authority) who's assigned to guard an old derelict workhouse. Again, this is something I'm really enjoying writing about, even if I have to do a lot of research about Victorian workhouses.

New beginnings

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Paul Johnson-Jovanovic and I am an aspiring dark fiction writer. I started writing about a year and a half ago. Since then I have had about fifteen stories published in various print magazines and ezines.
